Standard Chartered PLC è il gruppo bancario leader nei Paesi emergenti. Il prodotto bancario netto si suddivide per attività come segue:
- retail e private banking (51,8%): vendita di prodotti e servizi bancari tradizionali, emissione di carte di credito, prestiti al consumo e immobiliari, prestiti alle piccole e medie imprese, on-line banking, ecc;
- banca commerciale, aziendale, d'investimento e di mercato (47,3%): finanziamenti alle imprese, cooperative di credito, vendita di prodotti strutturati, gestione della liquidità e dei tassi, compensazione e conservazione dei titoli, gestione dei fondi, ecc;
- altro (0,9%).
Alla fine del 2023, il Gruppo aveva 497,4 miliardi di dollari in depositi correnti e 331,9 miliardi di dollari in prestiti correnti.
Le entrate sono distribuite geograficamente come segue: Europa e Americhe (9,5%), Asia (70,2%), Africa e Medio Oriente (16,2%) e altro (4,1%).
