Attività

Swedbank AB è un gruppo bancario organizzato in 3 aree:
- retail banking (81,4% del reddito): opera in particolare in Svezia (71,5% del reddito) e negli Stati baltici (28,5%; Estonia, Lettonia e Lituania);
- investment, financial, and market banking (15,8%): transazioni sui mercati azionari, dei tassi d'interesse e dei cambi, finanziamenti per aziende grandi e specializzate (per progetti, acquisizioni, ecc.), intermediazione azionaria, ecc. Il gruppo sviluppa anche attività di gestione patrimoniale e di assicurazione;
- altro (2,8%).
Alla fine del 2022, il gruppo gestiva 1.305,9 miliardi di corone svedesi in depositi correnti e 1.842,8 miliardi di corone svedesi in prestiti correnti.
I prodotti e i servizi bancari sono commercializzati attraverso una rete di 400 filiali situate principalmente in Svezia (145) e negli Stati baltici (86).
Il reddito (compreso quello infragruppo) è distribuito geograficamente come segue: Svezia (73,5%), Estonia (8,9%), Lituania (7,9%), Lettonia (5,1%), Norvegia (2,9%), Stati Uniti (0,3%) e altro (1,4%).

Swedbank Robur AB operates International commercial bank. Its products include Fixed-income mutual funds, Unit-linked life insurance policies, Pension plans and Discretionary accounts. The company operates into four segments: Retail accounts, Discretionary accounts, Pension accounts and Insurance accounts. The Retail accounts segment has about 3 million unit holders in its 100 mutual funds, or roughly 30 percent of the Swedish population. The Discretionary accounts segment manages investment funds on the behalf of private individuals, governments, corporations, universities, institutions and labour unions. The Pension accounts segment which offers stock and equity funds are marketed and offered as part of tax-deferred retirement programs. The Insurance accounts segment manages the assets of more then 900,000 unit-linked insurance policies, whose assets are invested in a range of funds. The company was founded in 1967 and is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden.
