Jim H. Possehl

In 2000, Mr. Possehl was awarded the first ever Lifetime Achievement Award by the United Association of Equipment Leasing.
Additionally, he received the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for the Rocky Mountain Region in 2005.
As well as being chairman of the board of Republic, Mr. Possehl is currently chairman of the board of Headway Staffing Services with sales of $140,000,000 employing 170 directly and a temporary staff of 3,000; and chairman of American Identity a promotional products seller and manufacturer headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri with revenues of more than $150,000,000.
He also serves as a director on the board of Tecta America Corp., the largest national roofing contractor in North America.
As a keynote and guest speaker, Mr. Possehl has been asked to share his expertise on the subjects of Equipment Leasing and Secured Transactions around the world.
He has served as chairman of the Equipment Leasing Association of America ("ELA") and president of the United Association of Equipment Leasing (UAEL).
He also is a board member of the Equipment Leasing and Finance Foundation.
He founded Republic Financial in 1971.
Mr. Possehl is extensively involved with several charities including Caring Ambassadors, an organization which encourages individuals with life-changing or life-threatening disease to take an active role in their healthcare and in helping others with their disease; Sewall Child Development Center, a facility that provides a nurturing and educational environment for special needs children; Karen Possehl Scholarship Fund, a fund set up for nontraditional female students that would otherwise be unable to continue their education; and Kempe Children's Foundation, a world renowned, independent non-profit whose vision is to end child abuse and neglect.
Mr. Possehl graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Marketing.
