Mr. Leo Han, CFA, is a Senior Equity Analyst at CIBC Asset Management, Inc. Mr. Han's coverage includes E&P, Royalty, Midstream or Pipeline, as well as Downstream or Refinery.
He is also responsible for conducting macro research on various issues related to the commodity complex.
Prior to moving to buy-side, Mr. Han was in sell-side equity research with Eight Capital where he provided support on the coverage of more than 30 energy companies (North American and Internationals).
In addition to performing fundamental analysis on the companies under coverage, he was also responsible for conducting research on various commodities.
Prior to Mr. Han's career in capital markets, he was a Business Analyst at AltaGas.
During his tenure at AltaGas, he worked in three different groups, including Commodity Marketing, Stakeholder Relations, as well as Internal Audit.
Mr. Han holds an Honours Degree in Business Administration (HBA) from Ivey Business School at Western University where he graduated with distinction.
He also is a CFA Charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of Toronto.
