Daniel Zuckerman

Mr. Daniel R.
Zuckerman, CFA MBA, is a President & Chief Executive Officer at Zuckerman Investment Group LLC.
He is a voting member of the firm’s Investment Committee, which is responsible for making all investment and portfolio management decisions.
He is responsible for setting the firm’s strategic direction and ensuring the firm’s unique and proven approach to financial counseling and asset management is exemplified by the firm’s culture and strengthened by the firm’s strategic direction.
In addition to his investment and executive leadership roles, he leads the firm’s financial counseling practice and is deeply involved with multiple generations of the firm’s long-tenured clients.
Prior to founding Zuckerman Investment Group in 2005, Mr. Zuckerman was an Officer at LaSalle Bank in a leveraged finance division.
He received a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
He is a CFA charter holder and a member of Young Presidents’ Organization.
