David St. John

David St. John is the Chief Investment Officer at UniSuper Management Pty Ltd.
His role entails responsibility for the management and implementation of the Fund’s investment arrangements that comprise in excess of $21.0 billion of assets and 116 manager mandates and directly held investments, an open defined benefit plan that is 16% in surplus, and a defined contribution plan that offers members seven investment options to choose from.
The internal investment team that David established and leads comprises 20 investment staff.
His reports work in one of four functional areas; namely Private Markets, Public Markets, Research and Risk Management, and Investment Operations.
In addition, there are 13 external service providers that provide a variety of ongoing specialist investment services to the internal investment team.
