Rafael Mate Rodríguez

Mr Rafael Maté is Controller at Mercapital since he joined in 1988.
From 1983 to 1988, he was Department Head at the Banco de Crédito Agrícola (Spain's Agricultural Credit Institution).
Previously, he had held a position as Audit Manager at Arthur Andersen, from 1974 to 1982.
Rafael Maté is a certified accountant and a member of the Spanish Institute of Accounting and Auditing (ICAC).
He holds a degree in Law from the University of Deusto (1974) and a degree in Business and Economics from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE) (1975), where he has also taught on Corporate Economics.
