Goel is a Global Head of Special Situations & Distressed Credit at Aegon USA Investment Management LLC.

He is responsible for overseeing and managing the Credit Opportunities strategies and the special situations and distressed assets.
His responsibilities also include high yield, leverage loans and convertibles; developing new investment opportunities; and providing insight and research on global stressed, distressed, and special situation securities.
He has been in the industry since 2002 and started with the firm in 2006.
Prior to joining the firm, he was a Financial Analyst in the Restructuring Group at UBS.
Before joining UBS, he worked as a Financial Analyst for Epoch Partners Technology Investment Banking Group in San Francisco.
Mr. Goel received his BA summa cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles and his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
