Mr. Andrew Lance is Head of Institutional at Fisher Funds Management Ltd.
He joined Fisher Institutional from TOWER Investments in June 2013, where his primary responsibility was managing the New Zealand bond and cash portfolios.
Mr. Lance started with TOWER in 2008 in a relationship management role before joining the portfolio management team in 2010.
The first 12 years of his career in capital markets were spent as a government bond specialist in the City of London for the likes of UBS, NatWest and Merrill Lynch.
He emigrated in 1994, initially joining JB Were in Auckland before moving to manage bonds for NZ Funds Management in 1996.
In 2000 Mr. Lance moved to a subsidiary company that specialised in commercial funding and then spent some time in a series of project management roles from 2006 before joining TOWER in 2008.
