Women in Technology (WIT) is a non-profit organization with over 18,000 members worldwide, including more than 1,000 members in the local area. The non-profit company is based in Alexandria, VA. The organization provides leadership development, technology education, networking, and mentoring opportunities for women at all levels of their careers and for girls interested in STEM. WIT aims to make the state with the highest percentage of women in the STEM workforce by partnering with the community to provide opportunities that champion women throughout their education and career. The company was founded by Gavriella Schuster, Deborah Gore Cassidy.
