DANIEL L.
KORPOLINSKI has been the President and Chief Executive Officer, U.S.
Operations, since March 2000, and as one of our Director, President and Chief Executive Officer from May 2000.
He was President and Chief Executive Officer of Copley Pharmaceutical Inc., a generic pharmaceutical company, from September 1998 until the company was acquired by Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.
in September 1999.
He was also a director of Copley from August 1998 until its acquisition.
Between 1991 and 1996, he served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of CoCensys Inc., a biotechnology company specializing in the development of therapeutics for the central nervous system.
From 1988 to 1991, Mr. Korpolinski was President of Adria Laboratories North America, an oncology company.
He started his career in the pharmaceutical industry with the Upjohn Company, where he spent 24 years, ultimately in the capacity as an Executive Director of several pharmaceutical business groups.
He received his B.S.
from Niagra University in New York.
