David Escoffier

Mr. David Escoffier is Chief Executive Officer at Newedge Group SA. He began his equity derivatives career more than 20 years ago at Credit Lyonnais in Paris, before moving to London to create Credit Lyonnais’ UK sales desk.
He moved to New York in 1997 to head Credit Lyonnais’ sales effort in the region.
He then joined SG Cowen in New York, a former subsidiary of Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking, as Head of Distribution for the Americas.
In 2003, he was named Head of Equity Derivatives in London, a position he held until February 2007 when he was appointed Head of Global Equities and Derivatives Solutions in London.
In 2008, he took over global responsibility for Equity Derivatives Flow & Hedge Fund Group sales, and was successively appointed Global Head of Hedge Fund Group Sales and co-Head of Global Equities & Flow in July 2009.
Mr. Escoffier is a graduate of Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Lyon.
