After 14 years as an institutional fund manager at SLI, General Accident and Blairlogie, he joined the London Stock Exchange as its regional manager for Scotland and Ireland before moving to Martin Currie Investment Management in 2006 as a Sales and Client Service Director.
In 2012, he joined Turcan Connell Asset Management where he was a Senior Investment Manager looking after private client, charity, trust and pension fund portfolios.
He graduated with an Honours degree in Actuarial Mathematics & Statistics from Heriot-Watt University in 1988.
He is an associate of the CFA Society of the UK as well as a holder of the CISI Certificate in Private Client Investment Advice & Management (with distinction).
