ASR Nederland NV (Investment Company) (ASR IC) is the investment division of state-owned ASR Nederland NV in The Netherlands. Formerly known as Fortis Insurance Netherlands, founded in 2000, the firm was acquired in 2008 by the Government of the Netherlands. ASR IC provides life, property, casualty, and health insurance products and services. They are a socially responsible investor and signatory to the UN Global Compact and Principles for Responsible investment which seeks harmony between people, society, and the environment by providing sustainable insurance products and investing in companies that make sustainable contributions to society. The firm is headquartered in Utrecht.
