Macquarie Investment Management Austria Kapitalanlage AG (Macquarie IM) is the investment management subsidiary of Macquarie Bank Ltd., itself a subsidiary of Macquarie Group Ltd. (SY: MQG) in Australia. The firm was established as INNOVEST Kapitalanlage AG in 1998, part of the Siemens Investment Department which managed the pension fund assets of Siemens AG Austria. When Siemens Group decided to focus on the industrial, energy and healthcare sectors in 2010, Australian Macquarie Group became their strategic partner. In 2012 the firm changed their name to Macquarie Investment Management Austria Kapitalanlage AG. Located in Vienna, Macquarie IM provides the global expertise of Macquarie Investment Management and Delaware Investments to institutional investors. Because of their experience in German speaking regions, they offer asset studies, asset and liability studies, portfolio monitoring, risk reporting, passive investment strategies and consultancy for external investment manager selection on an individual basis.

Unicredit Bank AG (Austria) is the Austrian brokerage subsidiary of Germany-based UniCredit Bank AG, ultimately held by UniCredit SpA (BIT: UCG, XE: CRI) in Italy. Formerly known as UniCredit Markets & Investment Banking (Austria), the firm was founded in 2006 as a division of UniCredit Markets & Investment Banking which consolidated the investment banking activities of Bayerische Hypo- und Vereinsbank AG, Bank Austria Creditanstalt and UniCredit Banca Mobiliare SpA into a single, global division. UniCredit Markets & Investment Banking (Austria) merged with Unicredit CAIB AG in 2008. In 2010 UniCredit ceased operations and the brokerage activity was transferred to Unicredit Bank AG which is headquartered in Vienna.
