Judy Neuman

Ms. Neuman's focus on retail venture investing began in 1999 when she joined Maveron as a Venture Partner.
Ms. Neuman brings over 20 years of retail experience in operations, merchandising and marketing to the Maveron team.
Ms. Neuman currently serves on the board of directors of lucy Activewear and Auctionpay and is a board observer at eStyle and Cranium.
Prior to joining Maveron, Ms. Neuman held a variety of executive positions at Eddie Bauer over a nine-year period.
From 1994 to 1999, Ms. Neuman created and led the development of the online channel for Eddie Bauer.
Additionally, she led the online strategy for the Spiegel Group, a subsidiary of Otto Versand, the largest catalog company in the world.
The Spiegel Group included Eddie Bauer, Spiegel Catalog and Newport News.
Ms. Neuman also held an advisory role for crateandbarrel.com (Crate and Barrel is a sister company of the Spiegel Group), as it began development of its online strategy.
Ms. Neuman was a founder and board member of shop.org, the e-retailers knowledge exchange and a division of the National Retail Federation.
An industry expert, Ms. Neuman frequently speaks at conferences and has been quoted in publications including Time, Business Week, The Wall Street Journal and numerous Internet publications.
Ms. Neuman also serves on several non-profit boards.
She is a Wexner Fellow and holds a BS from California State University, Long Beach.
