Kevin R. McCarey

Mr. McCarey joined Fidelity in 1986 as an equity analyst and portfolio manager of Fidelity Select Banking Portfolio, a position he held until 1990.
Since then, he has managed several Fidelity funds, including Fidelity Select Financial Services and Fidelity Select Automotive portfolios from 1989 to 1990, Fidelity Europe Capital Appreciation Fund from 1993 to 2000 and Fidelity Advisor Europe Capital Appreciation Fund from 1998 to 2000.
From 1990 through 1992, Mr. McCarey was based in London, where he worked as an equity analyst analyzing European financial services firms.
Mr. McCarey began managing Fidelity Advisor International Capital Appreciation Fund in 1997 and Fidelity Aggressive International Fund in 1999.
Prior to joining Fidelity, Mr. McCarey was a security analyst following the beverage, tobacco and lodging industries for Kidder, Peabody & Company Inc. in New York, from 1982 through 1984.
Mr. McCarey received a bachelor of science degree in commerce from the University of Virginia in 1982 and an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1986.
