Cathy Cox is currently the President of Georgia College & State University since 2021.
Prior to this, she was an Independent Director at United Community Banks, Inc. from 2008 to 2021.
She also served as the Secretary of State of Georgia from 1999 to 2007 and was a Partner at Lambert Floyd & Conger from 1989 to 1996.
Additionally, she was the President of Young Harris College from 2007 to 2017.
She has also held positions as a Director at United Community Bank West Georgia and as an Associate & Attorney at Hansell & Post.
Ms. Cox received her graduate degree from Mercer University and her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia.
She also holds an undergraduate degree from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.
