Lowell R.
Selvin has been Chairman-Emeritus of PlanetOut, Inc. since June 2006.
He was Chairman of PlanetOut from August 2003 to June 2006 and Chief Executive Officer from July 1999 to June 2006.
Mr. Selvin was a Founding Member and Chairman of the Gay and Lesbian Network of the Young Presidents' Organization and an Officer of the NorCal YPO Chapter.
He is a Member of the Advisory Boards for the Gay & Lesbian Athletics Foundation, MOSAIC, The National Jewish Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity and Care2.com.
Mr. Selvin was Founding Chairman of the Hebrew Union College's Institute for Judaism and Sexual Orientation and is a Director of the Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Center, West Hollywood's Congregation Kol Ami and the Child Guidance Centers of Orange County California.
He received a BS degree in Physiological Psychology and Aeronautical and an Astronautical Engineering from the University of Illinois.
