Michael Wienand

Michael joined SilverStreet’s Investment team in 2012, left in 2018 before returning in 2022.
Michael’s career has been focused on asset management, private equity, and business development in emerging markets, with sector specific expertise in the agriculture and the metals and mining industries.
Michael’s private equity experience covers the full transaction cycle including deal sourcing and evaluation, financial modelling and valuation, the due diligence process, transaction execution and post transaction monitoring.
Michael previously spent three years managing the financial planning and business development department at Dallaglio Investments, a rapidly growing mining group.
Michael has an Honours Degree in Economics from Rhodes University in South Africa, an MBA from the University of Warwick in the UK and is a CFA Charterholder.
