Palitha Kumarasinghe

Palitha Mendis Kumarasinghe is currently serving as the Chairman of the Environmental Council at the Central Environmental Authority.
He is also a Director at the Commercial Bank of Ceylon Plc, a Director at the Sri Lanka Law College Foundation, a Trustee at the Kalutara Bhodi Trust, a Member of the Law Commission of Sri Lanka, and a Member of The University Grants Commission.
In his former positions, Mr. Kumarasinghe served as an Independent Non-Executive Director at Nawaloka Hospitals Plc from 2016 to 2022.
He also held the position of Independent Non-Executive Director at LAUGFS Gas PLC from 2010 to 2017.
Additionally, he served as the Vice President and Member of the Executive Committee at the Bar Association of Sri Lanka from 2003 to 2005, and as the President of the Colombo Law Society in 2005.
He was a Member of the Council of Legal Education from 2010 to 2015 and a Member of the Public Service Commission in Sri Lanka.
