Allwright is a Co-Head of Absolute Rate & Currency at RWC Partners Ltd.
He joined RWC Partners in September 2010 with Stuart Frost as Head of the Absolute Rate & Currency (ARC) Team.
From 2007 until 2010, he worked at Threadneedle Asset Management where he was a Co-Manager on all Absolute Return Bond and Macro funds from inception date.
At Threadneedle, he handled absolute return and high-alpha strategy funds with AUM worth $3 bn.
His Absolute Return Bond Fund was rated AA by S&P and was A-rated by OBSR.
He was awarded two awards by Sauren in 2009 for the Absolute Return Funds and two of the Macro Funds.
Prior to Schroders, he worked at Gartmore from 2004 to 2005 as a Senior Portfolio Manager.
From 2001 until 2004, he worked at Royal London Asset Management and before that, he wored at Nomura, Nikko and Svenska Handelsbanken from 1993 until 2001.
Mr. Allwright graduated with a Master of Arts (Honours) degree in Engineering and Management Studies from University of Cambridge.
He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
