Laing is a Head of Government Bonds at Standard Life Investments Ltd.
He joined Standard Life Investments in 2001 and has over 20 years’ investment experience.
Mr. Laing is responsible for coordinating the management of the government bonds team with specific portfolio responsibilities covering institutional pooled bond portfolios, segregated bond mandates and Standard Life Group portfolios.
He also manages aggregate bond portfolios with additional input into the global absolute returns process.
Mr. Laing is heavily involved in the further development of the firm's government bonds team process and marketing Standard Life's capabilities to consultants and third party clients.
