Roy M. Jones

Prior to joining Freestone Partners in 2004 as a co-founder of the firm's Atlanta office, Mr. Jones was Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel of the McCamish Group, LP, a large family office in Atlanta, Georgia, where he served as the chief investment strategist with a core focus on private equity.
Prior to his tenure with McCamish, Mr. Jones was a Managing Partner of the law firm Cushing, Morris, Armbruster and Jones, LLP where his law practice focused on mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate, and corporate finance.
Mr. Jones was also the President and co-founder of a start-up furniture manufacturer and retailer.
Mr. Jones received his BA magna cum laude from Washington Lee University and earned his law degree with distinction from Emory University.
