He began his career at TIAA-CREF as an investment consultant, working with the firm’s nonprofit clients to set investment strategy and build customized investment portfolios.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts, Economics and Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
He earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2009.
