Mr. O'Brien joins Halpern Capital, Inc., from Tidewater Equity Research LLC where he was the founder and principal responsible for identifying and analyzing Specialty Semiconductors and Networking Equipment companies.
Previously, he was affiliated with Branch Cabell a division of Tucker Anthony in Richmond, VA for five years as the Senior Technology Analyst.
Terry has also worked as a Senior Staff Engineer at Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory in Laurel, MD, as a Principal Engineer with responsibility for Electromagnetic Research at NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, VA, as a design engineer for McDonnell Douglas Aircraft in St. Louis, MO, and for Alcoa Defense Systems in San Diego, CA.
Mr. O'Brien is widely quoted in the financial press, including The Wall Street Journal, Barron's, Bloomberg Radio, Dow Jones News, CanadaInvest.com, thestreet.com, and Research Magazine, among others.
Mr. O'Brien holds a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Masters in Business Administration from the College of William and Mary.
