William R. Becklean

Mr. Becklean has had 30 years of experience covering technology.
He comes to us from Commerce Capital Markets where, as a managing director, he followed the Telecom Equipment, Connectware and Network Security industries.
Prior to that Mr. Becklean was with Sun Trust Equitable Securities, Tucker Anthony and Kidder Peabody.
In his career, Mr. Becklean has achieved Institutional Investor recognition for his coverage of the computer and telecom equipment sectors as well as for stock selection and excellence in boutique and regional research.
Early in his career, Mr. Becklean, as a commissioned officer and later as a civilian, was in project management at the Naval Reactors Division of the U.S.
Atomic Energy Commission.
His responsibilities dealt with the design, construction, maintenance and operation of nuclear propulsion systems on nuclear submarines and surface ships.
