Currently, Brent Richard Irvin occupies the position of Vice President & General Counsel for Tencent Holdings Ltd. and Vice President & General Counsel for Tencent Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary of Tencent Holdings Ltd.). Mr. Irvin is also on the board of Tencent Research Institute, Tencent Music Entertainment Group, Tongcheng Travel Holdings Ltd. and Tongcheng-Elong Holdings Ltd.

In the past he was Head at Tencent America LLC and Member-Visitors Board at Stanford Law School.

He received an undergraduate degree from Carleton College, a graduate degree from Yale University and a graduate degree from Stanford Law School.
