Ms. Amy A.
LaGuardia, CFA, is a Portfolio Manager at Legg Mason Investment Counsel LLC.
She is a Managing Director at Legg Mason Investment Counsel.
Her primary responsibility is overseeing portfolio construction and ongoing monitoring of portfolios for individuals, families, foundations, endowments and institutional clients.
She is also responsible for the Multi-Cap Core Equity Strategy and the Legg Mason Investment Counsel Financial Services Fund, a mutual fund she co-founded in 1998.
Ms. LaGuardia entered the Financial Services Industry in 1979 and joined Legg Mason Investment Counsel in 2010.
Previously, she was Senior Vice President at Barrett Associates as a member of The Seifert Group where her responsibilities included portfolio management, research coverage of financial services companies and management of The Seifert Group’s research team.
Prior to that she was Senior Vice President and Co-Investment Officer at Gray, Seifert & Co., Inc. where she worked for 19 years.
Both Gray, Seifert and Co., and Barrett Associates were wholly owned subsidiaries of Legg Mason.
Ms. LaGuardia earned a B.A.
from University of Buffalo.
She is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts is a CFA charterholder.
