Mr. Andrew J.
Lang, CFA, is a Managing Director at CIBC Private Wealth Advisors, Inc. He is a Senior Relationship Manager representing CIBC Private Wealth Management with more than 35 years of investment experience.
He serves as an investment manager overseeing a select number of client portfolios and previously served as head of the Newport Beach office.
He is a voting member of CIBC Private Wealth Management's Asset Allocation and Multi-Manager Investment committees.
He formerly served as chairman of the Investment Committee and served as head of fixed income and trading.
He joined the firm in 1996 from an institutional investment advisory firm where he was responsible for managing taxable and tax-exempt portfolios.
He began his career with a Midwest regional advisor where he participated in the management of balanced assets for high net worth individuals, foundations, endowments and retirement plans.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in finance from the University of Illinois and a Master of Management in finance and economics from the J.L.
Kellogg Graduate School at Northwestern University.
He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the Phoenix CFA Society.
