In 1996 he then moved to the private bank of what was then Bankers Trust (which subsequently merged with Deutsche Bank) becoming regional product head for Deutsche Bank Private Banking in London prior to working for SG Hambros.
Dr. Popper holds a degree in economics from the Institute of Economic Studies in Bucharest and worked on a PhD in economics at the New York University.
