He focuses on on real estate opportunities in the United Kingdom and Europe.
He has been directly responsible for, or overseen, in excess of $3 billion of real estate assets at the firm.
Prior to joining Angelo, Gordon, Mr. Mittal was self-employed as a real estate developer focusing on office redevelopments in Germany and The Netherlands.
Before that he worked for Cerberus Capital Management where he purchased and managed opportunistic real estate portfolios throughout Europe.
Between 2004 and 2006, Mr. Mittal worked for Angelo, Gordon in New York focusing on real estate opportunities in the U.S.
Prior to Angelo, Gordon he was a member of the U.S.
investing team for the Morgan Stanley Real Estate Funds.
He holds a B.S.
degree from Johns Hopkins University.
