Mr. Aquico Wen is the Chief Executive & Chief Investment Officer at Legg Mason International Equities Ltd.
He has over 17 years of investment industry experience and is responsible for all emerging market equity portfolios.
He joined Citigroup Asset Management (bought by Legg Mason in 2005) in 1998 from JP Morgan Investment Management, where he was an Equity Analyst responsible for the Latin American consumer sector.
Prior to this, he worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in the area of Tax Arbitrage and Cross Border Lease Financing in developed and emerging markets.
Mr. Wen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designations.
In the 2000 Reuters Survey, he was ranked as one of the top Latin America Fund Mangers.
