Benjamin Kang

Mr. Benjamin Kang is a Vice President focused on the asset management of real estate properties in China.
He is based in Shanghai.
Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Kang was at Global Service Solutions, a subsidiary of Merrill lynch, where he was Asset Manager for China real estate portfolio.
Prior to that, Mr. Kang served as General Manager of Real Estate at China Ping An Insurance Group doing acquisition and asset management.
Mr. Kang received his masters of city and regional planning from Ohio State University and his bachelors degree in land economics at The National Cheng Chi University.
