At the end of 2001, he moved to U.S.
Bancorp Asset Management, now known as Nuveen Asset Management, as an Analyst and was soon promoted to Co-Manager.
He was also employed as a Co-Manager by FAF Advisors, Inc.
Mr. Bies received his BSBA from Creighton University and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin.
He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a Member of the CFA Institute.
