Cal Chicoine

Mr. Calvin E.
Chicoine is a Senior Portfolio Manager at Ballentine Partners LLC.
He works alongside families to optimize their investment portfolios in order to meet their long-term goals.
On the research front, he is focused on hedge funds and alternative investments.
Prior to joining the firm in 2016, Mr. Chicoine received his Master of Arts in International Economics and Finance from the Brandeis University International Business School.
While attending Brandeis, he interned for a family financial services company where his primary responsibilities included researching US equities, monitoring clients’ portfolio risk, and back testing unique trading strategies for high growth companies.
He also volunteered at Brandeis as a Student Consultant for the Massachusetts Department of Transportation – Real Estate Division where he lead a team of students in preparing development plans for real estate holdings next to multiple T-stops along commuter lines.
As an undergraduate he worked for Low Income Housing Corporation where he performed market research.
Mr. Chicoine is a graduate of Ithaca College where he majored in Finance and minored in Economics.
