Carl T. Yamashiro

Carl T.
Yamashiro is Vice President of Research and Development for The Molecular Profiling Institute, Inc. He was Senior Scientific Manager and Director of Genetic Variation for Motorola Life Sciences and Amersham Biosciences.
Dr. Yamashiro held various positions at Roche Molecular Systems, Boehringer Mannheim and Applied Biosystems.
He has 15 years of experience in the biotechnology and molecular diagnostics arena.
Dr. Yamashiro has an appointment at Arizona State University where he heads up Product Development for the Center for Applied NanoBioscience of the Biodesign Institute.
He received his BS in Biochemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles and a PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Oregon.
