Charles Hamilton

Charles Hamilton is a managing director specializing in investment and research in outsourced service and chemistry-enabled sectors.
He has over 30 years of investment experience in the fields of venture capital, security analysis, and corporate finance.
Prior to joining First Analysis, he was a principal in the private equity group at Robertson, Stephens & Co., where he also served as a managing director beginning in 1981.
Mr. Hamilton has been associated with First Analysis since 1987 through his participation as a general partner of First Analysis private equity funds.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of California, Berkeley.
