Darlene R. Backelman

Ms. Backelman joined Symphony in 2003.
Most recently, she was Director of Administration and Investor Relations from 1991 to 2002 at Behrman Capital, where she was responsible for all investor relations and back-office operations for three private equity funds with over $1.8 billion of capital under management.
In addition, she was responsible for all human resource functions for the firm.
From 1985 to 1991, she was an Administrative Analyst in the Merchant Banking and Venture Capital Groups at Morgan Stanley & Co., Inc. Ms. Backelman received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Pace University with a concentration in Entrepreneurial Management.
