Established in 1972, the firm is headquartered in São Paulo and focuses on managing collective investment funds and exclusive and reserved investment funds for individual and institutional clients.

UAM Assessoria e Gestão de Investimento Ltda. (UAM Assessoria e Gestão) is the asset management division of Itaú Unibanco Holding SA (NYSE : ITUB), a leading South American banking group created in 2008 through the merger of the Itau and Unibanco groups, two of Brazil's leading privately-owned banks.
