Daniels has been Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of The Washington Post Company since September 1991.
Previously, she was Vice President and General Counsel of The Washington Post from November 1988 to September 1991 and General Counsel from January to November of 1988.
She joined The Washington Post Company in April 1978 as Assistant Counsel of The Washington Post Newspaper.
Ms. Daniels was also Vice President and General Counsel of Newsweek, Inc. from July 1979 to December 1987.
She was an Associate of Cravath, Swaine & Moore.
She received a BA from Cornell University, a JD from Harvard Law School, a Master's of City Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Diploma from the University of Edinburgh.
