Edward Samuel Rogers is the founder of Rogers Communications, Inc. He served as the President & CEO of Rogers Telecom Holdings, Inc. and as the Chairman of Rogers Wireless Communications, Inc. He was also a Director at At Home Corp., FCI Broadband, Inc., Rogers Blue Jays Baseball Partnership, Sportsnet, Rogers Media, Inc., Cable Television Laboratories, Inc., and Canadian Cable Telecommunications Association.
Additionally, he served as the President of Rogers Cable, Inc. from 1998 to 2008.
Dr. Rogers was an undergraduate student at York University and the University of Toronto, where he received his undergraduate degree in 1956.
He also received a graduate degree from Osgoode Hall Law School.
He was a member of the Governors Board at The Paley Center for Media, the Lyford Cay Foundation, Inc., and Junior Achievement of Canada, and a member of the Councilors Board at Ontario's Promise-The Partnership for Children & Youth.
