Ernest Barger Miller

Ernest Barger Miller III has been Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of E.B.
Miller & Co. since 1990.
He is Chairman of the Nominating Committee for BPZ Energy.
Mr. Miller has over 40 years of experience in the energy industry.
He was a Director of BPZ Energy, Inc. from July 2005 to April 24, 2009.
He was Chief Executive Officer of Minden Oil & Gas, Inc. and held various investment banking positions at Graber, Miller, Ronn & Co. and Charterhouse Japhet.
Mr. Miller began his career at Exxon Corp.
He received an MBA from Northwestern University and a BS degree in Chemistry and Petroleum Engineering from Stanford University.
