Ernesto Chieffo

Based in London, Ernesto is Technical Director within the Energy Team within EOS IM Group.
He has more than 15 years’ experience in the renewables energy and infrastructure sector.
Before joining EOS IM Group he was Technical Director for a leading UK investment management company, with a significant presence in the renewable sector in Europe.
As project manager he oversaw the construction of 170MW grid parity solar projects in Italy, 30MW solar assets in UK, 50MW wind assets in UK and all the operational aspects of more than 150 assets with an installed capacity of 1.5GW.
He also led projects for innovative technological solutions to re-power and optimise performances for wind and solar assets, and worked as Senior Project Manager EPCs and for Equity firms successfully managing the development and the construction of more than 600MW solar and wind assets across over 12 different countries.
Ernesto has a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rome “La Sapienza”.
