Gordon Hess

Gordon Hess joined Ellis Partners in 1995 and currently serves as a Partner and Managing Director of the firm.
His primary focus is on the identification and processing of property acquisition opportunities.
Gordon began his commercial real estate career in 1977.
After founding a commercial brokerage and investment management company, which was sold to Grubb & Ellis Company, Gordon was associated with Grubb & Ellis for eight years where he held several corporate positions and ultimately was appointed Chief Administrative Officer.
Among his duties were management of national investment services and oversight of all company-owned and managed real estate investments.
Gordon is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley.
He is an active member of NAIOP (San Francisco Bay Area Chapter President Emeritus), former Board member and current member of the chapter’s Advisory Council and the Lambda Alpha Land Economics Honor Society.
