Hillhouse is different from the large multinational building materials companies in that it is a privately owned business that can meet the expectations of the largest customer but also remains a local business that services the needs of local companies and private individuals. Hillhouse Quarry has been producing crushed aggregate since 1907, remaining in the same family ownership until the present day.
