Gregory E. Gieber

Previously, he was a senior analyst at Brown Brothers Harriman and served as an economist, investment strategist and home builder analyst at Smith Barney, where he also developed the firm's research coverage in the computer services sector.
Mr. Gieber began his career as a housing economist for a leading consulting firm.
He also worked as a corporate planner for what at the time was the nation's largest home center retailing business.
He now follows home builders and consumer durables.
Mr. Gieber received his Master of Arts from the University of California-Santa Barbara and his Bachelor of Arts from San Francisco State.
He also holds a doctorate (all but dissertation) in economics from New York University.
Mr. Gieber was ranked in the Reuters/Tempest survey of top analysts in computer software and services in 1997, 1999 and 2000.
StarMine named him third best stock-picker in 2001 out of all Wall Street securities analysts.
Mr. Gieber has often been quoted in the media, ranging from The Financial Times of London to The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal as well as numerous trade journals.
In 2002 he was featured on CNBC as one of "Five Analysts You Can Trust."
