Formerly known as Sam Sustainable Asset Management, the firm was founded in 2000 to offer institutional quality private equity fund of funds solutions for investors. Their mainstream strategies invest in the highest quality private equity funds globally, in each segment of the venture capital, mid-market capital and large buyout fund markets. Swiss Life Asset Management AG (SLAM) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Swiss Life Investment Management Holding, which is part of Swiss Life Holding AG (SWX: SLHN). The firm was established in 1988 and is located in Zürich, with sister offices in France, Germany, and Belgium. SLAM manages part of the insurance assets of the group, as well as third-party mandates, providing investment management services for institutional clients. In particular, the firm distributes institutional funds specifically intended for pension schemes, accessible to other institutions.
