James von Kreuter

Mr. von Kreuter joined Headwaters with several years of investment banking experience, primarily focusing on middle market clients in a wide variety of industries including gaming, hospitality, real estate, consumer, transportation, healthcare, technology, consulting, media and entertainment.
He has originated, structured and closed over $4 billion of capital transactions for clients across a broad spectrum of capital including senior debt, high yield debt, mezzanine capital and private equity.
Mr. von Kreuter works with, and has strong relationships with senior lenders, hedge funds, mezzanine funds, and private equity funds.
Mr. von Kreuter joined Headwaters from Watch Hill Capital, LLC a boutique advisory firm that he founded.
Prior to that he was a Managing Director and Head of Private Placements at Mesirow Financial and prior to that he was Managing Director at BMO Capital Markets.
In his earlier career he was an Associate Director and Vice President at Bear Stearns and Alex.

Mr. von Kreuter received his BA in Economics from Hobart College and his Masters in Management in Finance and Management Policy from the J.L.
Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
