Jamie Adam

Mr. Adam has extensive experience in investment analysis and valuation.
Mr. Adam’s responsibilities include the management of existing portfolio companies and participation in the sourcing, structuring and closing B.E.S.T.
Investment Counsel Limited, ensuring the appropriateness of the valuation methodology as well as the consistency of its application and acts as the key correspondent with the firm’s external valuation auditor.
Prior to joining B.E.S.T.
Investment Counsel, Mr. Adam worked with a major Canadian chartered bank and Emco Limited, a manufacturer and distributor of construction supplies, in the corporate development department.
Mr. Adam holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario and honours Bachelor of Arts, Political Science major.
Mr. Adam has been awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Mr. Adam joined BIC in November 1998.
